Show Intro

One man....  One true talent.... One Fallen Brother.... Three years ago he left us too soon, before his time. Three years ago, the world wept when he was taken from us.  A man who devoted so much to this business was suddenly gone...  Tonight is for that man.  Tonight is to honor him, and put on a show for him that will surely leave a smile on his face.  Tonight is for one man.... One Friend.

"Biggest & The Best" by Clawfinger blares and the EUWC logo fades into a barrage of action shots including "Mr. Main Event" Rob Sampson, winning the Royal Rumble in 2002.  Sampson winning the Royal Treatment Tournament to be crowned the EUWC King. Sampson standing alongside long time friend Jordan Lockhart... And finally Sampson hoisting the World Heavyweight Championship into the air after defeating Buck Naked.  The scene then fades into the Chad Dupree Memorial Cup Logo as the event opens up to a jam-packed University Arena, in Albuquerque New Mexico... 21,000 fans are on their feet in anticipation of the PPV event.

The screen then switches to the commentary area where the two Main Frame announcers, Scott Marchman and John Shaft are standing by.

Scott Marchman: WELCOME EVERYONE TO UNIVERSITY ARENA! THIS IS THE 3RD ANNUAL CHAD DUPREE MEMORIAL CUP!

John Shaft: I am John Shaft and this is Scott Marchman! Tonight we have a tremendous line-up, which will be headlined by the highly anticipated Champion vs Champion match!

Scott: That's right! Main Frame's very own EUWC World Heavyweight Champion Jay Smash will take on the EUWC Champion from Blackout, Cuchulain!!

John: I'm feeling good about this Marchman... Tonight is Main Frame's night!  I can feel it!!

Scott: Suddenly you are backing Smash?!

John: I can go on hating him tomorrow.  Tonight I'm just a Main Frame guy cheering on another Main Frame guy.

Scott: Well tonight just isn't about Main Frame or Blackout.  More importantly it is a tribute to a Dear Friend of the EUWC.  Chad Dupree, better known to fans as "Mr. Main Event" Rob Sampson!

John: That's right... Tonight we honor our friend and Chad... This one is for you baby!

Scott: And what a better way to honor our friend than with the 3rd Annual Chad Dupree Memorial Cup Tournament!  Eight superstars will collide in three rounds of competition to determine who in fact will win the Chad Dupree Memorial Cup Trophy.

John: Four men from Main Frame and four men from Blackout will collide in the tournament.  Representing Main Frame will be Daymon, Nero, Cobris Grayson and "Classy" Mike C!

Scott: I couldn't think of a better four guys from Main Frame to have representing us.  And to tell us about the Black out representatives, here are Keith Duncan and Roger O'Neill!

The screen then switches to ringside where Duncan and O'Neill are sitting at the commentating table.

Kevin: Thanks guys! What a night Blackout has for you! Representing Blackout in this prestigious tournament will be Sevyn, Lynch Garrison, the hottest new sensation in the EUWC Violent K and Sanket Desai!

Roger: What a great bunch of guys to have on our side!  But another match I am looking forward to is the Special Champion vs Champion match when our very own International Champion Hawkeye takes on Main Frame's United States Champion Draco!

Kevin: That is going to be a tough challenge for Hawkeye as Draco is undefeated in the EUWC at this point.  That doesn't make for an easy night for our Champion.

Roger: That's what will make it so much better when a Blackout guy beats him and he suffers his first EUWC loss!

Kevin: But right now, let's get things started.  Kandi Reed is in the ring standing by...

The screen then switches to the ring where Kandi Reed stands holding a microphone.

Nero comes out and gets the crowd going with different arm gestures and blows kisses to the audience. As he comes down to the ring, he stands outside and raises his arms in the air. Then, a pyro goes of in one corner of the ring and then sequentially the other pyros go off in a clockwise direction. This happens for three times in total and then all four pyros go off with a big bang! Nero enters the ring and climbs on the farthest turnbuckle and blows a kiss to the audience.]

Kandi Reed: And his opponent, from New Jersey. Weighing in at 235 lbs, THE GREAT AND ALMIGHTY NERO!!!

[Daymon is still outside the ring, he laughs, and points to Nero, then his rear, and then to himself. This indicates “Your ass is mine!”.]

Scott: Charming.

John: Give him a break, the guy’s got character.

Scott: He’s got anger management issues is what he’s got.

[Daymon slides into the ring, but Nero starts stomping Daymon. Daymon shakes it off and climbs to his feet, lashing out wildly. Nero tries to fight back but is overwhelmed, Daymon hits the brainbuster on Nero and pins. 1...2.. Nero kicks out.]

John: Nice recovery.

Scott: Whose side are you on here?

John: What? It was nice.

Scott: What’s Daymon going for here?

[Daymon ducks under the ropes and stands by Nero’s legs laughing.]

Scott: Oh no!

John: Oh yes!

[Daymon grabs Nero’s legs and falls backwards and catapults him over the ropes and onto the ring-side barrier.]

Scott: Dear God!!

[Nero is out cold. Daymon throws him back into the ring and goes to pin.]

John: It’s over.

[Suddenly “Halleluja" by Rammstein cues up. Daymon stops pinning Nero for the three and stares at the ramp, clearly confused.]

Scott: Is it.... no it couldn’t be!

[Paul Doom appears at the top of the ramp grinning. Daymon is shocked but leaps to his feet and signals to Doom to bring it on. Doom sprints to the ring and under the ropes, Daymon waits patiently and the fans are at a fever pitch! They cant wait to see these guys go at it.]

John: You know what’s coming, don’t you Scott?

Scott: We have been waiting for this for quite some time.

[Doom turns his attention quickly to Nero who staggers to his feet. Doom kicks Nero in the gut and delivers a devastating Doomsday Powerbomb! The referee sees it and immediately calls for the bell to disqualify Daymon!]

John: WHAT THE HELL?!

Scott: Paul Doom just screwed Daymon out of the tournament win! Daymon has been disqualified!

Kandi: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, advancing to the Semi Finals as a result of a disqualification... NERO!

[Daymon has fire in his eyes as he stares at Doom. Doom smiles and slowly slides out of the ring. Daymon cannot believe what has just happened. Doom turns to walk up the ramp when suddenly Daymon rushes towards the ropes, leaps over top of them and crashes into Doom on the floor. Daymon begins peppering Doom with right hands. The fans are on their feet. A swarm of officials rush down to ringside to pull Daymon off of Doom. Doom scrambles to his feet and tackles Daymon to the ground. The two men trade hard punches back and forth. The officials continue to try and separate the two men.]

Scott: These guys are tearing each other apart!

John: Those are some stiff punches, Daymon's got a welt on his left eye.

[The officials wave to the back for more help to be sent down. Security guards and a few more referees come down the aisle to try and pull these two apart, but the punches continue to fly. Daymon takes a swing which inadvertantly connects with a referee, busting his eye open. Doom continues to throw wild punches. Daymon connects with an upper cut to the jaw of Doom sending him backward. Daymon charges at Doom again with more furious punches. The two men continue to brawl as they disappear behind the curtain.]

Scott: We need a camera on those guys now!

John: Blood Bath may be coming early!

John: All is fair in love and war... and this is war!

[Without the regular flashy intro, "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor plays over the loudspeaker and Nero hobbles out onto the stage.  He is limping, and holding his back. Nero slowly staggers to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope.  He slowly stands up and stares at Cobris.]

Kandi Reed: And his opponent, from New Jersey. Weighing in at 235 lbs, THE GREAT AND ALMIGHTY NERO!!!

The bell rings and Cobris advances to the center of the ring.  Nero takes a few steps and extends his hand for a handshake.  Cobris accepts.  They back away before locking up.  Nero is visibly battered, and Cobris easily over powers him, catching Nero in a side headlock.  Cobris takes Nero to the mat wrenching on his skull, but Nero fights out of it.  Cobris grabs Nero and slams him hard to the mat, aggravating the injury he sustained earlier from both Doom and Daymon.  Cobris is relentless as he pounces on Nero punching his skull repeatedly.

Scott: Smart move by Cobris to try and take Nero out and exploit those earlier injuries.

John: That is the danger of wrestling in a tournament like this.  Your injuries can bring you down.

Cobris pulls Nero to his feet and DDT's him hard to the mat and covers him but Nero is able to kick out at 2.  Cobris stands up and drops an elbow on Nero.  He goes for a second elbowdrop but Nero rolls out of the way. Nero staggers up but cannot recover quick enough as Cobris bounces off the ropes and connects with a running neck snap. Cobris quickly applies the Grayson Trap.  Nero screams in pain as Cobris wrenches on Nero's back.  Nero quickly gets his feet wrapped around the ropes and the referee forces Cobris to break the hold.

Scott: Nero barely managed to escape there.

John: If Cobris keeps this up, this match won't last too much longer.

Cobris stands up and grabs Nero, signalling for the Snake Pit.  Nero awkwardly fights out of it and out of nowhere connects with the Nero Kick.  Nero falls onto the prone Cobris and the referee counts 1... 2... THREE!

John: WHAT?!

Scott: Well the match didn't last too much longer, but I don't think anyone expected that!

Kandi: Here is your winner, advancing to the Finals of the Tournament... "The Great & Almighty" NERO!

Nero slowly stands up and Cobris does as well.  Cobris is visibly frustrated and upset, and Nero steps forward to extend his hand once again.  Cobris reluctantly accepts and the two men shake hands.

Scott: Well the inexperience of Cobris Grayson came forward here tonight.  Nero moves on, but what kind of shape will he be in when he gets to the Finals?

John: I don't know Scott, but I don't like Main Frame's chances in the finals!  Sevyn and Violent K are too rough competitors, and they will exploit Nero's injuries...

With a moment of silence, fire blast from either side of the entrance way and dies quickly as Insane Clown Posse's Murder Rap begins to play through the speakers. The lights flash with a purple and white effect when Violent K walks out and begins walking down towards the ring while being given an enormous pop from the crowd. Fans reach out to touch him and to clap his hand but he is to focused and carries on staring at the ring. He slides into the ring and makes his way to the top rope where he throws his arms up into the air.)

Shelley: And his opponent, from Las Vagas, Nevada. Weighing in at 307 pounds he is Sevyn!!

Sevyn throws Violent K down to the mat. But as soon as he hits the mat, he's right back up. They tie up again. This time Violent K gets Sevyn in a side headlock. Sevyn throws Violent K to the ropes and hits a shoulder block. Violent K sits up and looks at Sevyn. He gets up and bounces off the ropes. Sevyn dodges a clothesline then attemps one of his own. Violent K ducks and hits Sevyn with a dropkick from behind. Sevyn stumbles towards the ropes and leans against them. Violent K comes charging at Sevyn but Sevyn ducks, causing Violent K to flip over the top rope. His feet land on the apron and he spins Sevyn around. He hits Sevyn with a series of punches, causing Sevyn to become unsteady. Violent K grabs Sevyn's head and sets him up for a suplex to the outside.

Keith: Don't tell me he's going to suplex Sevyn down in front of us.

Roger: Alright, I won't tell you that.

Violent K suplexes Sevyn over the top and Sevyn goes crashing down in front of the announce table. Sevyn is slow to get to his feet, but while he gets up, Violent K leaps off the apron with a cross body. Both men are laid out in front of the announce table as the ref begins to count…..1…..2….3…4. Violent K slowly gets up and begins to pick up Sevyn. He rolls Sevyn back into the ring and climbs in himself. Sevyn starts to get up but Violent K stops him half way with a kick to the chest. He grabs Sevyn's leg and begins to kick him in the back of the knee.

Roger: It looks like Violent K wants to keep the big man down and not let him up.

Keith: That would be the best strategy to use against someone like Sevyn.

Violent K snaps in a figure-four as Sevyn screams in pain. The ref checks to see if Sevyn will tap but Sevyn keeps shouting no. The crowd begins to rally behind Sevyn as he tries to turn it over. Violent K keeps yelling at Sevyn but Sevyn keeps trying to turn. Sevyn gets half way over and Violent K releases the hold.

Keith: Violent K isn’t taking any chances.

Violent K gets up as Sevyn hobbles over to a corner. Violent K comes charging in and hits Sevyn with a clothesline. He backs up and goes for another one, but Sevyn lifts a boot and clocks Violent K in the face. Sevyn regains his composure and picks Violent K up by the hair. He throws Violent K into the corner and begins unloading on him with rights and lefts. He ends the combo with a headbutt. Violent K stumbles out of the corner and collapses to the mat. Sevyn runs into the ropes and drops a big leg to the back of the head. He grabs Violent K's legs and applies a Boston crab. The ref checks Violent K to see if he'll tap. Violent K turns his body and reaches for the ropes. Sevyn pulls him into the center of the ring and reels back even more. Violent K lets out a scream of pain as he tries to get up.Violent K struggles to get to the ropes as he slowly manages to pull Sevyn over. He grabs the ropes and the ref starts to count..1….2….3….Sevyn lets go at 4 and steps back, allowing Violent K to get up.

Keith: It seems that Sevyn wants Violent K to face him toe to toe in the middle of the ring.

Roger: Both of these guys have been at each other non-stop since the start and that's exactly what everyone wants.

Violent K gets to his feet and sees Sevyn urging him to come at him. Violent K charges and Sevyn hits a drop toe hold. He gives Violent K a stiff shot to the side of the head, but Violent K retaliates with one of his own. Sevyn goes for another one, but Violent K blocks and hits one of his own. Violent K gets to his feet and e connects with two more followed by a short clothsline. Violent K begins stomping on Sevyn. Sevyn tries to block Violent K's foot but it's to no avail. Violent K gets a few good shots to Sevyn's face, causing him to start bleeding from the nose.

Roger: Violent K has made Sevyn bleed!!

Keith; On accident! Blood is not his style.

He lands an elbow drop to the chest of Sevyn. He attempts another but Sevyn moves out of the way. Violent K grabs his elbow in pain as Sevyn gets to his knees. He wipes the blood off his face then starts licking the blood off his fingers.

Keith: Sevyn is just sick.

Roger: But that's what makes him so popular with the fans. You never know what he'll do.

Keith: You have a point there.

Both men get up and stand toe to toe. They begin jawing with each other and soon enough they're clubbing each other with hard right hands. Neither man will fall back as the dish out blow after blow. Sevyn gets a slight advantage as Violent K starts to reel back. Sevyn takes a step back and charges at Violent K.

Violent K catches Sevyn a drop toehold and locks in a STF.

Roger: This is it! Sevyn can't take this move. He has him right in the middle of the ring.

Keith: This looks like it could be the end of the match.

Sevyn screams as Violent K wrenches on the submission hold. The ref asks if Sevyn will tap, but he keeps saying no. Slowly, Sevyn starts dragging himself towards the ropes.

Keith: That's impossible! Sevyn's actually making his way across the ring, trying to reach the ropes!

Sevyn keeps dragging himself as the crowd cheers him on. Sevyn stops as Violent K wrenches back even further. Sevyn lets out another scream as blood is pouring down his face. With one last bit of desperation, Sevyn pushes all of his weight forward, moving him close enough to barely reach the rope. The crowd goes wild as Violent K can't believe it.

Roger: He broke the hold!

Keith: We know, Roger.

Violent K gets right back up and starts kicking Sevyn in the back. We see Sevyn turn his head towards Violent K, and with each kick by Violent K, Sevyn smiles. Sevyn slowly gets up and stares at Violent K with a sadistic smile on his face.

Keith: If I didn't know any better, I'd say Sevyn LIKED the beating he was getting.

Roger: He does have a lot of problems in the head.

Violent K goes for a kick but Sevyn catches his foot. Sevyn drops Violent K's foot and nails him with a clothesline, dropping him down hard. Violent K gets up and takes another clothesline. He gets up and is met with a big boot to the face. He drags Violent K over to a corner and hoists him up on the top turnbuckle. Sevyn climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Violent K nails him with a hard right and then a uppercut to the jaw. Violent K gets to his feet and grabs ahold of Sevyn and leaps. The crowd gets to their as Violent K nails Sevyn with a top rope belly to belly suplex. Both men bounce off the mat. Violent K slowly crawls over and draps a arm over Sevyn’s chest. The ref counts..1….2…thre..kickout.

Roger: Was that three?!!

Keith: NO!! The ref is signals 2!!

Violent K slowly stagers to his feet and picks up Sevyn. He goes for a suplex, but Sevyn falls through and lands behind Violent K. Sevyn quickly pushes Violent K into the ropes and catches him with a rolling cradle. The ref counts…1….2…Violent K pushes Sevyn into the ropes. Violent K gets to his feet as Sevyn tries a clothesline, but Violent K ducks and catches Sevyn with a German Suplex. The ref counts . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!

Shelley: Here is your winner, Violent K!

Keith: Violent K will represent Blackout in the finals of the Chad Dupree Memorial Tournament.

Roger: I don't like it, Keith. Violent K is good but he doesn't have the experience needed to beat Nero.

Keith: He's made it this far. Who says he can't go all the way?

Roger: I'm not saying he can't. But Sevyn would have had a better a chance.

Keith: Have faith Roger.

Special Appearance
"The Ego Buster" Dan Ryan

FADE IN....

The shot opens on a chair in the middle of an empty room, set up especially for this segment.

On the chair sits a large man wearing jeans and a "New Breed Wrestling" t-shirt, short cropped blonde hair and black boots leaning forward, elbows on his knees and hands folded together in front of him.

"Some of you may know who I am. Most of you probably don't. My name is Dan Ryan, and Chad Dupree was my best friend in the entire world."

"I met Chad in September of 1997. We were both twenty-two years old, him being only two months older than me. We were both trying to make our way into the North American wrestling scene, me having come from Japan only a few weeks before and he just getting his chance in the IWA."

"I was fortunate to be a part of a stable in IWA that included AJ Honold among other people. Chad was a guy that AJ recruited to the group and lobbied hard for the office to put with us. I didn't know who Chad was, but I trust AJ a great deal."

"There was a guy in the IWA back then, a man named Leonard Dessert. He used the name 'The Wizard' as his gimmick in those days. He had brought Chad in several months prior to that and Chad had actually made a little bit of a name for himself while working with Leonard."

"Well, Leonard didn't like the fact that Chad would be moving over to work with us and he took it rather personally. Everyone who knew Chad knew he was a big guy. Leonard thought it would be a funny rib backstage to set up a website linking Chad's name to a Weight Watchers website. Needless to say it didn't go over very well...with anybody."

"Like I said before, I didn't know Chad at this time - but AJ comes to me one day after talking to the boys at the office and let me know that Chad was quitting he business and moving back to Ohio. I was curious about it, and AJ proceeded to tell me the story."

"I don't know why I felt the need to stick up for Chad when I didn't know the guy at all. But something inside me just couldn't sit by and let him go out like that."

"A couple days later, I made it a point to cross paths with Leonard Dessert in the locker room in Altoona. In front of everyone in the company, I let it be known what I thought of his rib, his place in the business and the possibility of him being raised by some sort of homosexual gypsy cult. In the corner of the room, unbeknownst to me...Chad Dupree was there listening to the whole thing. He later told me he had never expected anyone to step up and back him up like that. It gave him a new motivation for the business."

"Next thing I know - Chad's back in the show. Unfortunately I left the IWA territory not long after that and went back to Japan to take care of some personal business."

"A year later I came back to the states. By then, Chad had made a name for himself to the extent that he was able to start up his own company in the Northeast. Chad contacted me when he heard I was back in the states and asked if I'd like to come work for him up in Ohio. I agreed and my career in New Breed Wrestling started. It was Chad that got me my break in the states and it's something I'll never forget. I had some of my favorite early moments in New Breed, including my first contact with Erik Zieba - who also became a life long friend."

"Along the way, Chad and I were becoming as close as two people in this business can be. Anyone who is a part of this grind can tell you that people you can trust are few and far between. Chad is a man who never lied to me, never tried to cheat me and never once that I ever saw treated someone unkindly. If anything, I often got frustrated that Chad let people walk all over him as I was seeing it. But he was cool as a cucumber. He was unflappable in his conviction, and despite being treated poorly by workers on more than one occasion he was always simply the nicest guy in the industry bar none."

"In 1998 I made my first visit up to his place in Peebles and spent a week with he and his family. We went and saw ECW Heatwave '98 along with another friend in the business named Chad D. Stevens, who went on to indy fame as Hardcore Tommy Chill."

"There are so many memories I have of that trip, from going to see Baseketball in the theaters to the game of one on one we played at the local court and the two kids who walked right through our game like we werent there - and the conversation they were having. 'Man, what's wrong with you? You gotta lay off that herb, dawg.' ' Man, that herb don't hurt me.' "

"I remember hanging at his place playing Six Man Scramble on his Sega Saturn. Yes folks, it was that long ago."

"As New Breed Wrestling became Nth Wrestling Alliance, and Nth gave way to becoming GXW after the merger with EWI Chad and I were always a constant. Chad was the single most fair minded booker I ever worked for. Chad made it a point to make people happy even to his own personal detriment. He instilled in me the importance of elevating the young talent in the business, and I spent a good portion of those years using my name value to try and bring up the new breed. There was a such a good group of guys at the time, guys like Randy Cobb, Gabriel Poe and Kevin Powers, The Motor City Maniacs, Rob Sampson and later on guys like Christian Sands, Stephen Waltz and so on and so on. The place was like a family."

"I remember the struggle Chad went through getting his surgery approved. He had decided it was his last chance at a long healthy life. His health problems had increased in recent years. His heart was feeling the strain and his ankle was increasingly painful for him. Even for a man his size, he had always been able to work - and was able to bump with the best of us. But he had grown increasingly dependent on pain medication just to get through it, and he had no intention of getting caught up in that lifestyle. So, surgery the option he chose."

"Chad was often discouraged. Every doctor he spoke to said his heart was in bad shape, too bad to have a surgery of that magnitude. But Chad was determined."

"We had many talks in those days. I told him we'd get it approved if that was what he really wanted. I was concerned, but I knew that it was what he wanted. Chad could'nt be deterred when he set his mind to something."

"He finally got his procedure approved, and when it was done he was happier than I had ever seen him. I can't say what a difference it was to see Chad happy again. He was more than happy. He was ecstatic. The pounds were melting off, and he knew a new future was ahead of him. He would be able to work, and better yet he'd still be alive to have children and grandchildren."

"In late August Chad's back had been killing him. He checked himself into the hospital to rest it up."

"I talked to Chad the night before he passed away. I was on the road and had a night of driving ahead of me. We spoke at about 9pm that night. He sounded tired. He said his back was sore, but that he was okay and not to worry. I told him I'd call him in the morning after he had a chance to rest. I hung up the phone and got on the road."

"I remember the next morning so vividly..."

"I called Chad at around 8:30 that next morning. No one answered in his hospital room so I assumed he was having some tests done or was asleep. I didn't wanna bother him, so I figured I'd give him a call later that day."

"I had driven for ten hours straight. I was exhausted so I hit the hay and woke up around 4pm that afternoon. As I was getting ready to head to the arena, I gave Chad a call again. Once more there was no answer, so I dug around in my bags and found his parents' home number. I was just about to call him when the phone rang."

"Our mutual friend Jason was on the other end of the line and he was upset. He was more than upset, he was on the verge of tears and I could hear it easily in his voice."

"I remember that moment so clearly. Like a snapshot in my head, I'll never forget the chill that ran through my spine when I heard Jason's voice. Then he said it.....'Dude...Chad died this morning.' "

"I've been thrown through glass, I've been tossed from a balcony, I've been stabbed in the ring. But I've never felt more blindsided and more fully incapable of rational thought than in that moment. The world literally started spinning around me. I listened as Jason explained what had happened, that Chad had a bacterial infection that triggered a cardiac arrest."

"I had lost my daughter not three years before that, and only then had I ever felt so absolutely helpless in my entire life. You can't explain with words the sort of pain that losing someone that's such a part of you brings."

"That night, for the first and to this day only time in my entire career...I called and said I couldn't make my booking."

"Chad was more than a co-worker, more than a friend to me. Chad Dupree was the closest thing to a brother I ever had in my entire life. We had made so many plans - plans to grow old as lifelong friends. Our kids would be friends - we'd spent holidays with our families together. When something in this crazy business got me angry or got me down - Chad was there as my sounding board. When he was brought down by something, I'd be there to pick him back up."

"I felt like a part of me was ripped out that day."

"How do I begin to memorialize a guy like Chad? I can't say enough about what sort of person he was. I think the most telling testament to the kind of guy he was, was made evident in the fact that while Chad never thought anyone truly cared about him during life, his death brought out people in this business whose lives he touched. He would have dug that. He would have laughed and smiled and been very touched to know people cared. He'd be amazingly touched to know that EUWC is doing something like this tournament."

"I wish I was able to compete in this tournament to honor my friend, but unfortunately schedules couldn't match up."

"But I will say this - there will never be another quite like Chad Dupree....my comrade, my friend....my brother."

"Here's to you, big man."

Ryan pounds a fist on his chest then nods and puts his head down.....

The bell rings and Nero slides into the ring to be greeted with a sharp kick upside his head. As Nero struggles to recover Violent K drags him to his feet and whips him to the ropes, as Nero rebounds Violent K picks him up and drops him on the ropes.

Scott: Nero is hung out to dry, not a promising start for Main Frame.

Keith: That’s what Blackout is all about baby!

It looks like Keith may have spoken too soon, Nero hops to his feet and knocks down a running Violent K with an easy short arm clothesline. He is quick to capitalize and drops some elbows before going to work on the legs with a joint lock.

John: But Nero’s back on form with a joint lock that has Violent K writhing in pain. You were saying?

Violent K lashes out with his free leg and kicks Nero in the face, breaking the hold.

Keith: It’s only a matter of time.

Scott: Look, are you going to be making mysterious remarks all night?

Nero shakes his head and uses the ropes to get to his feet. Violent K moves in for the kill with a running lariat, but Nero ducks and back body drops him over the ropes. Some how Violent K manages to plant his feet on the apron and hook Nero’s head.

Scott: Violent K looking for a reverse suplex off the ring apron here!

Roger: Nero is in a world of trouble.

Violent K starts to lift Nero, until he is almost inverted but amazingly Nero shifts his weight and brings Violent K down into a devastating stunner that drives the rope into his throat, causing him to catapult off the apron and onto the mats below.

Scott: Superb if somewhat eye watering reversal by Nero, Violent K is laid out at ringside!

Keith: You’ve got to give Violent K credit for even attempting a move like that in the first place.

John: If you say so. The question now is, can Nero capitalize?

The referee begins a count;

1...

Nero struggles to his feet.

2...

He eyes the fallen Violent K suspiciously and then hops the ropes and steps off the apron.

3...

Nero heaves the fallen Violent K to his feet.

4...

He whips Violent K into the barrier causing him to fall over it and into the crowd.

John: Nero can’t afford to turn this into a pier six brawl with that count going.

Roger: Yeah but it would be damn funny though.

As Nero brings Violent K back up again he is met with a hard shot to the face.

5...

Violent K leaps onto the barrier.

6...

He springs off, planting Nero with a high flying cross body, causing the fans to warm to the action immediately.

7...

Suddenly Violent K remembers the count and rolls Nero into the rings, sliding in after him.

Keith: Wise move, Violent K can’t win us the cup if he gets counted out.

Violent K pins;

1

2

Kick out, but just.

Keith: Nero hangs on by the skin of his teeth.

Violent K is frustrated but continues his assault. He starts to run to the ropes but Nero has him by the ankle and trips him up. Nero stands quickly and wipes the sweat from his brow, he then picks Violent K up and snap suplexes him back down again.

Scott: Nero back on the attack now, looking more determined than ever.

Keith: Is that determination or a concussion?

Scott: Why on earth would it be the latter?

Roger: Well, that cross body was quite viscous....

Up and down again from a russian leg sweep. A pin from Nero;

1

2

The shoulder is up before the three. Violent K is trying to recover, but Nero denies him a window of opportunity and applies his infamous Infinite Jest.

Scott: I think that’s the first time we’ve seen Violent K smile this match. Although admittedly he’s screaming inside.

Somehow by a series of awkward jerks Violent K reaches the ropes and Nero is forced to break the hold, reluctantly however. Violent K is upset to say the least and rolls on his back before letting fly with a series of right and left hooks which staggers Nero just long enough for Violent K to plant a knee in Nero’s....

John: Yeesh, that was unpleasant.

Roger: Good tactics. Strike your opponent where he’s weak.

Scott: Yeah, but couldn’t Violent K have found a weak spot that doesn’t make me wretch.

Nero crawls away in his own private hell as Violent K regains his footing. Nero reaches the turnbuckle and raises himself back up, to find Violent K bearing down on him at a rate of knots. Thinking fast Nero dives out the way and Violent K discovers why they say “hard as steel”, meeting the ring post head on.

Scott: Now that’s a concussion.

As he staggers away clutching his head he walks straight into a spinning implant DDT which Nero delivers with vengeance. Violent K is flat on his back centre of the ring and Nero realises there’s only one course of action he can take.

John: You know what’s coming don’t you Keith?

Keith: I hope not.

Nero backs up a few steps and stomps his feet signaling for the Nero Kick. Violent K turns around and Nero connects with the Kick!
Scott: And that is all she wrote.

The referee makes the count;

1

2

3!

Nero springs to his feet, and kicks Violent K out of the ring and starts to celebrate the win.

Scott: Nero has won the tournament!

Keith: Barely.

John: Well to me it looked like Nero was fairly competent in there, but I’m sure you can put a spin on it somehow.

Roger: I’m not going to dignify that with a remark.

Nero raises his arms in victory holding the Chad Dupree Memorial Cup Trophy.

Kandi: Here is your winner, and the 2006 Chad Dupree Memorial Cup Trophy Winner, “The Great and Almighty” Nero!!!!

Inter-Promotional Champion vs Champion Match
EUWC World Heavyweight Champion Jay Smash vs EUWC Champion Cuchulain

(The opening bent chords of U2's 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me' play, and as the drums kick in the lights go crazy. The power chords take over, and as the settle down into the final crash of cymbals before the first verse, one large burst of blue sparks light up in a line across the rampway. As the smoke clears, Cuchulain appears from behind the curtain, escorted by the Morrigan.

You don't know how you took it
You just know what you got
Oh Lordy you've been stealing
From the theives and you got caught
In the headlights
Of a stretch car
You're a star

You don't know how you got here
You just know you want out
Believing in yourself
Almost as much as you doubt
You're a big smash
You wear it like a rash
Star

They climb the steps to the ring, and Cuchulain holds the rope for Morrigan.

Oh no, don't be shy
You don't have to go blind
Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me
)

Several moments later, the whispering stops and "Now is the Time" by Dope blasts through the PA system.

Kandi Reed: Now making his way to the ring from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 265 pounds. He is the EUWC World Heavyweight Champion, "The New Disease" Jay Smash!!!

The lights stream across the arena, until they find Jay Smash running thrugh the crowd. Covered with thousands of fans around the arena, Smash manages to make it through and leap over the barricade then slide into the ring. As he rises to his feet, he moves towards the turnbuckle, and climbs to the top with little effort. His body stands tall and his arms stretch to the sky with his hands in fists while the flashes from cameras take him away. Smash leaps back off the turnbuckle and lands on his feet t stand in the center of the ring.)

The two lock up and Cuchulain gives Smash a side head lock, and then Smash whips Cuchulain off the ropes and then Cuchulain knocks Smash down and he pins him for a two count. Smash reverses it into a back suplex and Cuchulain holds onto the head lock. Smash whips Cuchulain off the ropes and Cuchulain comes back with a shoulder block to take him down. Smash takes Cuchulain down with a drop toe hold, and then he floats over with a front face lock to wear Cuchulain down.

Roger: What great mat-wrestling technique from both men!

Scott: It's still early, the good stuff is on it's way...

Cuchulain takes Smash down with a fireman carry take over, and then he gives Smash some knee drops to the arm. Cuchulain holds the arm of Smash and he wrenches away on it to wear Smash down. The referee asks Smash if he gives up, and Smash says no. Cuchulain slams Smash's head into the turnbuckle. Cuchulain twists the arm of Smash and then Smash gives Cuchulain some right hands, and Cuchulain takes Smash down with a side head lock, and Smash takes Cuchulain over with a head scissors. Smash goes for a back slide, and he gets it on Cuchulain for a two count. Smash goes for a belly to belly suplex on Cuchulain, but Cuchulain gets out of it and then Smash knocks Cuchulain down to the mat. Cuchulain goes to the outside of the ring, and Smash comes after him and he slams his head into the steel steps. Smash slams Cuchulain's head into the announcer's table on the outside of the ring, and then he rolls Cuchulain back into the ring. Smash stomps away on Cuchulain in the corner.

John: Smash looks to be in complete control, holding nothing back!

Keith: You Main Frame guys are so one sided!

Cuchulain then whips Smash off the ropes and Smash jumps over Cuchulain's knee and he rolls Cuchulain up for a two count. Smash gives Cuchulain a gut wrench suplex, and then Smash stomps Cuchulain. Smash then hooks Cuchulain in a vertical suplex and then he pins Cuchulain for a two count. Cuchulain gets up and Smash gives him a right hand and then Cuchulain whips Smash off the ropes and then he catches him in a sleeper hold. Smash falls down to the mat to get out of it, and Cuchulain falls to the outside of the ring. Smash goes after him and then the two get back in the ring and Smash hooks Cuchulain in an abdominal stretch and the referee asks Cuchulain if he gives up. The fans chant for Cuchulain and Cuchulain gets out of it with a hip toss. Cuchulain takes Smash down with a snap mare and then he goes for an elbow drop, but Smash moves out of the way. Smash then hooks the abdominal stretch back on Cuchulain and then he holds the ropes for leverage. The referee sees it and then he knocks Smash's hands off the ropes.

Roger: Smash tried to take the easy way out! Typical Main Frame Star!

Scott: Need I remind you that Main Frame is up 2-1 on you guys tonight?!

Smash complains to the referee and Cuchulain tries to back suplex Smash, but Smash gets out of it, and then Cuchulain slams Smash's head into the turnbuckle 9 times! Cuchulain then slams Smash's head into the other turnbuckle, and the fans count "10" when his head hits. Smash falls to the outside of the ring, and Cuchulain goes after him and he slams his head into the announcer's table, and then into the steel steps. Cuchulain rolls Smash back into the ring, and Smash tries to leave, but Cuchulain pulls him back into the ring and then he whips Smash off the ropes and he gets the Lou Thesz Press on him and then some right hands. Smash tries to roll Cuchulain up, but to no avail. Shelley: Here is your winner, the EUWC Champion, Cuchulain!

Scott: OH MY GOD!! What a match!

Keith: The best of both brands pulls out the best they had and made a great match!

John: What a minute! What's this?

Cuchulain and Smash shake hands as their perspective titles hang over their shoulders. AOD and Mike C run to the ring and jump Cuchulain and Smash from behind as they were posing for the crowd. AOD and Cuchulain pair off as does Mike C and Smash they are brawling in opposite corners as referees and EUWC officials head to the ring to break it up. The brawl continues as the pay-per-view goes off the air.
