Roger: Live from Ottawa, the capital of Canada! TakeDown is on the air!!!
Keith: We have a huge card tonight! Leo Silver has some major announcements concerning the matches that will take place at eXile III!
Roger: Forget that. I can't wait to see the United States Championship Match.
Keith: Cuchulain defends against Hawkeye. Also, the Rise To The Top Tournament continues with more first round matches. The rookie Artur Arina takes on former EUWC Champion, Ray Santana
Roger: Ha! Artur, wake up! Class is in session!
Keith: And Texas Lightning takes on "The Hitman" Tony Delucci.
Roger: Tony has something up his sleeve. I just know it.
Keith: Yeah, because Tony said that last week, genuis. Also, Aaron Andrews versus Jakob Mclean and Ssazz versus . . . whoa looks like we're starting that match right now. Let's go to ringside.

Rise To The Top Tournament Round 1
Ssazz vs Sanket Desai
[Back in the ring, Ssazz sits, slumped in the corner.]
Shelly: The following contest is set a round match in the Rise To The Top Tournament and it is scheduled for one fall. Already in the ring is the challenger... he is the man known as .... SSAZZ!!!!
"Savin' Me" by Nickelback blares and the arena goes dark red as the crowd boos loudly. The lyrics start to go off, Sanket Desai can be seen through the red and black smoke up on the stage.
[Prison gates won’t open up for me] Sanket Desai starts to walk down the ramp with his eyes showing determination and his face showing no signs of giving up.
[On these hands and knees I’m crawlin’] Sanket Desai hits the ramp floor and begins to crawl on the ground slowly.
[Oh, I reach for you] Sanket reaches out his right hand up towards the heavens.
[Well I'm terrified of these four walls, these iron bars can’t hold my soul in, all I need is you, come, please, I’m callin] Sanket stops crawling and starting begging up towards the heavens with his hands folded.
[And oh, I scream for you] Sanket screams out but no one can hear what he actually says. Only he knows.
[Hurry, I’m fallin, I’m fallin] Sanket starts to go further down to the ramp floor with his arms still extended in a begging position.
More lyrics play and slowly but surely Sanket speeds his pace into the ring. The lyrics begin to fade as Sanket Desai enters. He gets on all four turnbuckles as red pyro shoots out. Suddenly, the ring goes back to it’s normal color.
Shelly: And his opponent, from New York City, weighing in at 200 pounds, Sanket Desai!!
The two wrestlers wait to get on with there match but out walks Kobra. Kobra walks straight past the ring and takes a seat at the commentary. Meanwhile Sanket and Ssazz lock up the ring as the match starts. Sanket is able to counter Ssazz into an armbar and applies an armlock. Ssazz is easily able to counter into one of his own and whips Sanket into the ropes and takes him over his shoulders with a back body drop. Ssazz picks up Sanket and nails him with a right hand before whipping him into the ropes again. Ssazz drops down looking for a move, but Sanket sees this and kicks him hard in the shoulder. Sanket takes Ssazz down to the mat with a clothesline and mounts him before hitting right hands. Sanket only stops when the referee pulls him off.
Keith: An interesting start to this one
Roger: And the winner faces you Kobra
Kobra: That’s why I’m out here. Got to scout my opponents.
Sanket now has control and slows the match down by putting Ssazz into a headlock. Sanket rolls the neck causing more pain to Ssazz. Ssazz starts to dig deep and hit’s a desperation back drop on Sanket. Ssazz is up fairly quickly and charges taken Sanket over the ropes and both men rolls and crash into the bottom of the commentary table. Ssazz picks up Sanket and bounces his head of the table. Ssazz goes for whip into the ring post but Sanket is able to reverse and Ssazz is taken into the post head first. Sanket starts to taunt Kobra who merely smiles at him. Sanket is too busy to notice Ssazz was up and is taken by surprise with a running forearm smash. Ssazz rolls Sanket into the ring and hooks the leg…1...2..and Sanket kicks out
Keith: Almost a winner there
Roger: Sanket’s cockiness could have cost him big time
Kobra: That little punk better of had watch his mouth
Ssazz picks up Sanket but gets a thumb to the eye. Sanket hit’s a suplex on Ssazz before putting him in a triangle hold. Sanket has the pressure on and Ssazz is fighting but is fading. The referee checks Ssazz and raises the arm. It falls. The referee raises it again and it drops down again. The referee raises it a third time but this time Ssazz keeps it up and gets onto his feet breaking the hold. Sanket quickly goes down low and hit’s a chop block on Ssazz. Sanket grabs the injured leg and drops his elbow on it before pulling it in. Ssazz is screaming in pain as Sanket gets up and drops the elbow on it again. Sanket pulls Ssazz up onto his shoulders and drops him with a power bomb.
Keith: Sanket has this one won
Roger: Ssazz is out after a valiant effort
Kobra: Well guys, its time I did my part of the plan.
Sanket sizes up Ssazzhas he struggles to get up. Kobra goes from the commentary table to the ring and tries to get in but the referee is pushing him back. From the stage runs T. Waring armed with a sledgehammer. Sanket hasn’t seen him and Waring rolls in and readies himself. Sanket turns around and Waring nails him in between the eyes with the sledgehammer. Waring puts Ssazz’s arm over Sanket and Kobra walks away allowing the referee to see the pinfall..1...2...3!!!
Shelly: The winner of this match Ssazz!!!
Waring rolls into the ring armed with a microphone. He waits for the crowd to boo before talking.
Waring: You see Sanket, I’m sick of you running around here like you own the place. Now you came out in my match and hit my opponent with a chair just as I was clearly dominating him. Now I was going to come and help you, but you got in the way of my Sledgehammer shot on Ssazz.
(The crowd boo at this comment.)
Now, you lost because you see, I don’t like people helping in my matches without me knowing about it. But there is another reason why I’m out here and that was because I sent Kobra a message to come out on commentary for a reason. That reason is because we cant be wasting our time with rookies and wasters in this important tournament so we fought we’d liven this dull match up a bit.
With that Waring drops the microphone and motions to Konba to pick up Ssazz. Waring readies the sledgehammer he is holding and drives it straight into the gut. Kobra keeps hold of Ssazz and Waring hits him straight in the head with it. Now both men are bleeding from the head. Waring grabs Ssazz’s ankle and puts it into an ankle lock. However he drops down and puts him into a Commander Lock. With Ssazz out there is no movement, just Waring screaming trash at Ssazz. Waring breaks the hold and taunts to the crowd to a chorus of “you suck” chants. Waring and Kobra roll out of the ring as EMTs rush out to aid Ssazz as the show goes into a commercail break.

Rise To The Top Tournament Round 1
Artur Arina vs Ray Santana
("Hello Timebomb" plays over the speakers. Ray Santana walks purposefully to ring and steps inside.)
Shelly: The following contest is set a round match in the Rise To The Top Tournament and it is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 275lbs, Ray Santana!
The lights go down as the guitar gently thrums around the arena. Smoke billows out, creating a thin mist over the ramp and stage. Red lights occasionally flash giving the smoke a demonic tint.
"I WEAR MY SKIN!"
The lights blaze up with the guitar, firey oranges, reds and yellows darting around the arena as Artur appears on stage. He pouts and poses all the while dripping of arrogance and as he desceneds towards the ring a chorus of boos echo around the arena that only serves to boost his already inflated ego. Artur mounts the apron and strides over the top rope before smuggly grinning at the crowd.
Shelly: And his opponent, from Archangel, Russia, weighing in at 325 pounds, Artur Arina!!
The bell rings and the match begins. Arina and Santana circle before moving into the centre of the ring and locking up. Santana gains the upper hand by driving a knee into the gut of Arina, followed by a forearm to the back of the neck. Santana grabs Arina by the back of the head and drives his head down onto his knee. Arina falls backwards onto the mat and Santana leaves him with little time before dragging him from the canvas and whipping him into the ropes. Arina rebounds and Santana attempts a clothesline, but Arina ducks underneath and puts the brakes on. Santana turns around and receives a drop kick to the jaw, sending him to the mat. Arina gets up and drags Santana to his feet. Arina whips Santana at the ropes and as he rebounds, Arina nails him with a powerslam. Arina holds on for a pin, 1…2…kick out. Arina gets up and drags Santana to his feet. Arina whips Santana into the corner and charges, nailing him with a clothesline that crushes Santana into the corner. Santana stumbles forwards but Arina pushes him back into the corner and begins to unload right hands. Arina whips Santana hard across the ring and Santana bangs forwards off the opposite turnbuckles, allowing Arina to grabs him and nail him with a release belly-to-belly suplex.
Keith: Arina doesn’t look too distracted at the moment!
Roger: Just you wait Keith!
Arina heads over to where Santana is lying and stomps on him. Arina grabs Santana by the hair and drags him to his feet. Arina nails Santana with a right hand before whipping him at the ropes. Santana bounces back and Arina lays down. Santana runs over and bounces off the opposite ropes, allowing Arina to capitalise on the momentum and grabs Santana by the hair before tossing him over the top rope and to the outside, just in front of the announce tables. Arina rolls from the ring and stomps on the grounded Santana as the referee starts to count 1…2…Arina drags Santana up to his feet by the hair and smashes him face first into the announce table. 3…4…Arina maintains hold of Santana and leads him to the ring apron. 5…Once again, Arina slams Santana down face first. 6…Santana falls to his knees but Arina drags him back up and whips him at the ring post. Santana however manages to reverse the move and sends Arina shoulder first into the post. 7…8…Arina spirals down to the concrete floor and Santana rolls back into the ring and out again, breaking the referee’s count. Santana walks over to Arina and stomps on him before dragging him back to his feet. Santana scoops Arina onto his shoulder and walks to the barriers around the ringside area, dropping Arina onto them neck first. Arina falls to the concrete floor and Santana drags him to his feet before rolling him back into the ring. Santana enters the ring and drops an elbow on Arina before attempting a pin, 1…2…kick out.
Keith: We nearly had a pinfall right there!
Roger: You can’t tell me that Arina is well and truly concentrating now can you Keith!?
Santana gets up and gestures a three count to the referee before stomping once again on Arina. Santana drags Arina to his feet and nails him with a right hand before scooping him up and nailing him with a body slam hard down to the canvas. Santana backs into the ropes and springs forwards before dropping a leg onto the throat of Arina. Santana gets up and drags Arina to his feet. Santana boots Arina in the gut before making him “Kiss the Canvas.” Santana attempts another pin, 1…2…kick out by Arina. Santana gets up and once again pulls Arina to his feet. Santana whips Arina into the ropes and as he rebounds, Santana catches Arina and locks in a crippler crossface. Arina writhes in pain and tries to reach for the ropes in vain as Santana tightens the hold. The referee checks whether or not Arina can continue as Arina screams in pain. Santana starts to tire and loosens his grip, allowing Arina to begin edging forwards. Arina makes his way towards the ropes slowly but after a struggle he manages to reach the ropes and break the hold. Santana gets to his feet and stomps on the shoulder of Arina, adding to the damage done by the hold.
Keith: Arina just managed to pull something from deep down then and escape that hold.
Roger: But he has a distinct weakness now and a seasoned pro like Santana will play on that.
Santana drags Arina to his feet and grabs him by his injured arm. Santana twists the arm around twice, adding pressure, before yanking Arina towards him and nailing him with a clothesline from hell. Santana attempts a pin, 1…2…Arina gets a foot on the bottom rope. Santana gets up and drags Arina away from the ropes before stomping a few times on Arina’s shoulder. Santana leaves Arina lying motionless in the centre of the ring and scales the turnbuckles all the way to the top. Santana makes sure he’s balanced before flying backwards and attempting a moonsault. At the last second however, Arina rolls out of the way and Santana lands face first on the canvas. Both men are down on the canvas as the referee begins to count, 1…2…3…Santana starts to rolls towards the ropes…5…6…Arina manages to climb to his knee, albeit tentatively…7…8…Santana gets back to his feet and walks over to Arina as he also gets to his feet. Santana grabs Arina by the hair but Arina manages to swing and nail Santana in the gut. Santana doubles over and Arina capitalises, nailing Santana with a DDT. Arina gets up and drags Santana up with him before unloading a barrage of right hands on Santana, although the agony on Arina’s face highlights the damage done earlier. Santana stumbles backwards and Arina boots him in the gut before nailing him with a snap suplex and rolls over to attempt a pin, 1…2…kick out by Santana.
Keith: The rookie is back and has all guns blazing!
Roger: But those facial expressions tell the true story of his injury!
Arina gets to his feet and nails Santana with a right hand, albeit with great difficulty and causing the US champ great pain. Arina launches another right hand, but Santana moves and manages to lock in another crippler crossface! Arina writes in agony as Santana tightens the hold more and more. Arina reaches for the ropes and manages to grab onto the bottom rope. Santana immediately breaks the hold and gets to his feet before stomping on the grounded champion. Santana whips Arina into the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a backhand chop to the neck, sending Arina to the mat. Santana signals for a camel clutch and waits for Arina to return to his feet. Arina gets up and Santana approaches from behind. Arina has other ideas however, and nails Santana with an elbow to the face. Santana stumbles backwards and Arina turns around before booting Santana in the gut. Arina sets up and flips backwards, nailing Santana with a DDT! Arina makes the pin, 1…2…3! The ref calls for the bell.
Shelley Reed: Here is your winner, Artur Arina!
Keith: Artur Arina picks up the upset and advances towards an EUWC Title shot.

A black screen is suddenly staring us right in the face. Eye to eye and
maybe even nose to nose, with this much of nothingness around us we can
not tell no matter how much we dare to try and tell.
Where there once was colour and all sorts of life buzzing before us,
there is now tons upon tons of black. No way around it, no matter where you
look, you see nothing but black. We are all in the now.
None of us knowing what to expect next.
What begins to happen next has a faint feeling of being seen before but
not by anyone for quite a few years. And when it happened back then, it
resulted in there being quite an impact by its creator.
More precisely what begins to unfold before the public's eyes is a
small, yet very sharp, white crack can been seen protruding through the black.
A small crack soon grows to a more noticeable size, and then grows a bit
more still. It is at this point when something new pushes forward - a sound
not heard of last time.
A screeching siren starts to push its way through the black in time
with the ever growing white cracks. Making this now not only an ambush on the
eyes but also an raid on the ears. As the siren's scream grow forth and
multiple from nearly every direction, the wash of white is close behind it. And
as the white cracks are nearly engulfing what once was darkness, that very
same darkness seems to shattered away - leaving us bare to the new sight and
sound.
But then, as suddenly as all this started, the sound cuts itself off
which is only to hieghten our attention to another matter. That being a few
choice words in bold, red lettering, which take up the screen by storm leaving
just enough room around each word to keep the public's eyes squinted
slightly.
Those words are: A New Age Is Upon Us!
Almost a full minute later everything is gone again and our sets are
returned to the regularly scheduled programs. Leaving most in shock and
awe, but all of us in wonder.

In-Ring Segment

Leo Silver
("Cold" by Evan's Blue blares and Leo Silver walks into the arena. He walks to the ring, steps inside, and is handed a mic by the ring attendant.)
Leo: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Tonight is a special night. We have just concluded the first round of the Rise To The Top Tournament. Coming up, we have a huge United States Championship Match. But what this night so special is that tonight, I am here to announce some blockbuster matches for TakeDown's first brand specific pay-per-view, eXile III! These matches plus more to be announced later on will prove that TakeDown can always put on a better pay-per-view experience than Main Frame.
The main event will be either "Classy" Mike C or Sean Taylor versus the one of seven TakeDown superstars who wins the Rise To The Top Tournament. But we will also have three other championship matches. I have announcements concerning two of those matches.
First, the EUWC Tag Team Championships will be decided at eXile III. Depending on the outcome of Aftershock's blockbuster match, TakeDown fans will see either The Texas Outlaws or Pickstock's Army take on TakeDown's fastest up and coming tag team sensation, Downtown Meltdown. And this will not be a standard tag team match that Pickstock seems to think sells pay-per-views. This match will take place inside a fifteen-foot-high steel cage!
The other big announcement that the EUWC International Championship will be defended as well. Over the past couple of weeks, the International title hunt has heated up. There are reaching hands grabbing for that championship and a lot of volitile emotions surrounding that title. So at eXile III, I'm going to put all of those combustable elements into the ring and watch it explode. At eXile, it will be Rocko Daymon defending his International Championship against rival Texas Lightning AND Hawkeye in a triple threat match!
Ladies and gentlemen, eXile III will continue to grow in the coming weeks. We have lot of superstars all fighting to be the best on TakeDown - and in the EUWC period. I will do my best to showcase as many of them as possible. Stay tuned folks, the United States Championship Match is next!

Shelley: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and STILL EUWC North American Champion, Cuchulain!
Keith: Cuchulain gets the win over Hawkeye! And here comes Leo Silver!
("Cold" by Evan's Blue blares and Leo Silver walks out onto the stage holding a microphone.)
Leo: Cuchulain, Celtic Pride, you three seem to like interfering in matches lately. Next week on TakeDown, I've got you three lined up in a six man tag match against Jakob Mclean and The Salvation. And since you like bringing weapons into a match, let's make this . . . oh I don't know . . . a hardcore rules match.
(Cuchulain and Celtic Pride start to protest but Leo holds up his hand.)
Leo: And Hawkeye, since you're never going to get a fair fight with these three around the United States Title, the EUWC Championship Committee has authorized another match next week. You get first crack before eXile to make an impact. On the next TakeDown, it's you versus Rocko Daymon. And the EUWC International Title will be on the line.
Keith: Whoa! A six man tag team hardcore match AND Rocko defends the International Title against Hawkeye on the next Takedown!
Roger: Leo Silver is drunk with power. He can't do that to Cuchulain and Celtic Pride!
Keith: He can and he did. Ladies and gentlemen, we're out of time. See you next time on EUWC TakeDown!
