Onslaught II - May 19, 2008 Globen Arena - Stockholm, Sweden Main Event EUWC World Tag Team Championship Match Special Referee: STEALTH (c) Rocko Daymon & "The Ego Buster" Dan Ryan vs Angel of Death & Mystery Partner Last week Rocko Daymon and AOD battled in a main event surrounded in controversy.  Prior to the match, both Dan Ryan and Rocko Daymon had been attacked backstage by two masked men.  While Angel of Death concentrated on the head injury Rocko suffered, someone else was standing by ready to ruin AOD's celebration.  Buck Naked intervened, attacking the referee before hitting AOD with a Starmaker Powerbomb off of the stage.  Following this, STEALTH arrived to seemingly help Rocko Daymon back to his feet. A confused Rocko Daymon attacked STEALTH before being aided to the back.  This week, STEALTH will serve as Special Referee when Rocko teams up with Dan Ryan to defend the World Tag Team Championship against Angel of Death and a mystery partner.  The questions surrounding this match are endless.  Will STEALTH call things down the middle?  Will Buck Naked make his presence felt once again?  Will the masked attackers plot another vicious assault?!  Tune in May 19 to find out! Tag Team Tournament - First Round Match The Darkstars vs Diabolic Forces The tag team contenders tournament continues this week when The Darkstar Brothers step into the ring against Diabolic Forces.  The former World Tag Team Champions have been assaulted by the Darkstars in the past and this week they will do whatever it takes to gain a measure of revenge.  However the Darkstars will be looking to prove that they are indeed the number one team in the industry.  More important is the fact that in a few weeks time, one of these two teams could be named the number one contenders to the World Tag Team Championship.  Who will take the first step? Tag Team Tournament - First Round Match Team Fusion vs Hawkeye & Braden Kincaid In the final match of the first round, World Tag Team Champion hopefuls Team Fusion make their return to in-ring competition to take on former EUWC Champion Hawkeye and his randomly drawn partner, current North American Champion Braden Kincaid.  This odd-ball pairing has seen success in singles competition.  Kincaid himself is still undefeated.  However now they must team up and rely on each other for success.  Can this brand new pairing upset the tag team specialists and advance to the Semi-Finals?! EUWC United States Championship Match (c) "Yours Truly" Adam Benjamin vs Texas Lightning In the final stop prior to Blood Bath's Unification Champion's Challenge, Adam Benjamin has one last hill to climb when he defends his United States Title against Texas Lightning!  The Southwest Icon has had quite the successful EUWC career, albeit without ever winning a singles Championship.  Now TL can change all that if he defeats Benjamin.  Meanwhile, Adam Benjamin has claimed that he is the future of the EUWC.  Can he retain his title when it matters most? Tag Team Tournament - Semi-Final Round Match Team Danger vs Lord Alucard & Paul Doom Not only will the Tag Team Tournament close out the first round, but the Semi-Finals will kick off as well. Last week, Team Danger advanced in a glorified handicap match against Nero when his scheduled partner failed to show up.  Meanwhile, enemies turned partners Lord Alucard & Paul Doom were successful in defeating Cold Blooded to advance in the tournament.  With the winning team getting one of the most coveted spots in the #1 Contenders Match, which of these two teams survive?  The former Champions or the former foes?! Sean Taylor vs Dwight Jackson As Sevyn and Sean Taylor gear up for their one on one encounter at Blood Bath, Sean Taylor will do battle with one of Sevyn's associates this week on Onslaught!  Dwight Jackson is known for being an enforcer in Synn.  No doubt Jackson has been instructed to do as much damage to Taylor as possible.  However Sean Taylor is one of the EUWC's top stars and since his return has yet to secure a victory.  Can Taylor gain some much needed momentum heading into Blood Bath, or will Synn's Enforcer send Taylor down another notch? Blood Bath Qualification Choker vs Jason Krueger vs "The Hitman" Tony DeLucci To determine who will be the final entrant into the 20 Man Blood Bath Match in a few weeks, Matt Pickstock has set up this Triple Threat Match.  Choker makes his long awaited return to the EUWC to take on Jason Krueger, and former United States Champion Tony DeLucci.  It has been quite some time since Choker stepped foot in the ring.  Could ring rust prevent him from attaining a much desired spot in the Blood Bath match?  Tony DeLucci has not tasted EUWC gold in quite some time.  Can he use this match as a launching pad to success?  Jason Krueger has had a rough start but a victory here could definitely turn things around for him.  Which of these three men will claim that final spot? "The Ironman" Buck Naked vs "The Crippler" Joe Boyer In preparation for his No Disqualification Street Fight against AOD at Blood Bath, Buck naked will be in action this week to take on Joe Boyer.  The Crippler has been quiet as of recent weeks but could make a big impact this week.  Both of these men have a lot on the line heading into this one.  Buck needs the much needed momentum, while Boyer just needs to survive to elevate himself back up the EUWC ladder.
